I-Tech is developing a marine biocide; Selektope® to be
used in marine paint prohibiting growth on ship and boat
hulls. The substance is effective against barnacles and
some other shell builders while having a minimal effect
on the marine surrounding.
Selektope® is available to the marine paint and chemical
industry.
