Göran Wessman, Chairman 
Mr Wessman is president and CEO of Mintage Scientific. He has more than thirty years of experience form the life science industry where his entrepreneurship has resulted in a number of successful and sustainable companies and ventures, e.g. Nobel Biocare (publ.), Boule Diagnostics and Carmel Pharma.

Bertil Arvidsson, Board member
Mr Arvidsson holds an M.Sc. in engineering. He currently holds a position as Director for Technical and Environmental questions in Swedish Shipowners’ Association. He also serves in the European and International shipowners associations in parallel with assignments in IMO committees on technical and environmental issues. 
 

Erik Hedenryd, Board member
Mr Hedenryd holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers university of technology in Gothenburg and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Gothenburg university. Erik works as Investment Manager at Volvo Technology Transfer AB (VTT). Prior to VTT , Erik has a background from automotive and aerospace industry and has held positions in business development, purchasing and production development within the Volvo Group.

Ole Johansson, Board member  
Mr Johansson has been in the Venture Capital business for almost 20 years investing in skilled based companies. Before that he spent ten years in industry and international trading. Ole has operational experience as well a great knowledge in financing, acquisitions and owner related issues.

Håkan Krook, Board member
Mr Krook has been working in the financing and development of Swedish high-growth companies for more than 15 years. Before joining ALMI Invest Västsverige, Mr Krook’s previous roles included CFO for Effpower AB and Exide Technologies’ Nordic operations. Mr Krook has also gained entrepreneurial experience as a one of the founders of Sjunnesson & Krook Corporate Finance AB. Prior to that Håkan worked for Matteus Fondkommission AB, where he was involved in building up the company’s corporate finance department. Håkan began his career working for three different companies within the ABB Group. Håkan earned a Master of Science in Business and Economics from Karlstad Business School. 

Mikael Laurin, Board member
Mr Laurin has a wide range of experience from many industries, countries and disciplines. He has worked for different consultancy firms, with focus on supply chain management, business strategy and management. He co-founded a consultancy firm in 2002, with focus on business and marketing strategy for the communications and media industry. Since 2007 he has been CEO of Laurin Maritime. Laurin Maritime operates a modern fleet of tankers for oil products and chemicals worldwide.
