I-Tech has been granted almost SEK 4,5 million to develop pleasure boat paint in collaboration with Volvo Penta from the governmental authority VINNOVA (the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems). The application and subsequent grant follows on a license agreement between I-Tech and Volvo Penta through which Volvo Penta received exclusive rights to commercialize I-Tech’s technology for the pleasure boat market. The grant from VINNOVA will allow for I-Tech to deliver its share of research and development capabilities to the collaboration.
