I-Tech and Volvo Penta receive qualified advice from George Washington University MBA program
SACC (Swedish American Chamber of Commerce) facilitates and support trade, commerce, and investment between the U.S. and Sweden. They help Swedish companies to find the right partners in the USA. SACC have facilitated contacts between the international MBA program at George Washington University and Swedish Cleantech companies.
This spring semester five Swedish clean tech companies were consequently given the opportunity to get qualified help from a handpicked group of 22 MBA students from George Washington University to identify business opportunities in the USA.
A group of five students have been collaborating with I-Tech and Volvo Penta to analyze and investigate the antifouling market for leisure boats in the USA.
In May 2010 the group visited Sweden for two weeks to meet with the companies they have been advising and to conclude the projects. A presentation and conclusion of each company and project was made for all those involved. I-Tech and Volvo Penta received a comprehensive marketing plan from the group of students working with our project.
It has been truly educational for I-Tech and Volvo Penta to work with this group which has done a thorough and professional work putting large efforts into the project. We are very impressed with the insights into the antifouling market and the quality of the final marketing plan.
